WELCOME TO CLASS K/1M - MRS JO-ANNE MUDGE

Welcome to K/1 M! A class of 8 Kindy students and 12 Yr 1 students. All children have settled into class and are enjoying coming to school each day. It is  exciting to be a part of their learning journey here at Tuggerah Public School.

  • Library: Library day is Monday with Mrs Duke. Students are encouraged to bring their library bag every Monday and return and borrow new books.
  • Sport: Sport will be every Tuesday for Yr1 and every Friday for Kindergarten. Students are required to wear their sports uniform and hat on their sport day.
  • Fruit Break: Each morning we will have fruit break at 9am.  Please include a piece of fruit that is easy to eat in your child’s lunch box each day. Fruit break should only take 5-10 minutes and will occur during Class time when administration and check in activities take place.
  • Assembly: Infants assembly is on Friday every fortnight.
  • Scripture/ethics/non-scripture – On a Tuesday the whole school participates in scripture, ethics or non-scripture classes for 30 minutes.
  •  Personal belongings: Please ensure that any personal belongings (including jumpers, hats, drink bottles and lunch boxes) are clearly labelled with names.
  • RFF Mrs Pont: Mrs Pont will be teaching the students History and music on Friday.
  • Class dojo – You will be able to contact me directly through class dojo and from time to time I will post messages and photos of classroom activities . It is essential that if a message is urgent, for example a change in pick up details, that you call the office and the message will be passed to us.
  • Absences – Please ensure that a note is sent with your child to school and/or a dojo message is sent to your child’s teachers if they have been away. A note must state the reason which they were absent. If a note is not received we will have to follow up with a phone call.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year with K/1 M.
