WELCOME TO KOALA - MRS JO MUDGE
Koala Class 2020
Welcome to class Koala. This year we have 24 year one students making up our class, 9 boys and 15 girls. We have settled well into our new classroom, establishing routines and creating a kind and respectful place of learning. Our Literacy unit for term 1 is Feelings and Emotions and this is closely linked to our PD unit on Social and Emotional Learning. It also promotes our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Excellence and Resilience.
I use Class Dojo as a form of communication and it is pleasing to see you all connected to this app. You may also use this to communicate with me. If your child is away you can message me the reason on Dojo and I will put this on my roll.

Friday – Assembly each fortnight
A reminder also to label all items your child brings to school.
Homework and daily Home Reading should now be a part of their routine and each day Dojo points are awarded for participation in this. Please do what you can to assist your child and enjoy being part of their learning journey.
