Welcome to Class 3/4S - Mrs Bronwyn Selfe
I am excited to be a part of your child’s learning journey in Stage 2. It has been a busy start to the year, and everyone is settling in well to their new class. Our class theme is ‘peacocks’, and like this extraordinary creature, the students of 3/4S are ready to demonstrate their problem-solving abilities and learning aptitude and look forward to being part of the ‘party’.
Library – Library is Monday with Mrs Duke where students are using inquiry learning and research to develop an understanding of the impact of British colonisation on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
RFF – RFF is time when the classroom teacher is relieved from face-to-face teaching to complete programming, testing etc. 3/4S will have Mrs Beven on Wednesdays while I have my executive release and Ms Drew on Wednesday am for PD Health and PE.
Sport – Stage 2 will have Sport on Friday between 10:00 – 11:00am. Please ensure that your child is wearing their sports uniform, brings their hat and water bottle. In Term 1, the focus will be on cross country training and our athletics program.
Scripture/non-scripture – On Tuesday the whole school participates in scripture or non-scripture classes for 30 minutes.
Assembly – Primary assemblies will be held on Friday odd weeks @ 2.20pm.
