Welcome 3/4R with Ms Richards
Welcome to 3/4R! I am really excited to be back teaching Stage 2 and I’m looking forward to having both Year 3 and 4 students this year. I am familiar with many families in our class this year, having taught these cohorts in previous years. Our class comprises of 12 boys and 14 girls, with a mixture of Year 3 and 4 students. Our students are from different backgrounds, have different skills and bring different personalities to our classroom. All of the children have settled in well and are learning the new routines. Below is some information that may help you plan your child’s week to ensure we all have a successful year at school.
- Library – Library day is Thursday with Mrs Duke. Students are encouraged to bring their labelled library bag every Thursday and borrow books to enjoy at home. These books will be required to be returned the following week.
- RFF – RFF is a period of time when the classroom teacher is relieved from face to face teaching to complete programming, testing etc. 3/4R will have Mrs Beven on Mondays between 11:30am and 12:30pm, where they will be learning important Technology skills.
- Sport – 3/4R will have sport on a Friday between 10am and 11am. Please ensure that your child is wearing their sports uniform, has appropriate footwear on, brings their hat and water bottle.
- Scripture/non-scripture – On a Tuesday the whole school participates in scripture or non-scripture classes for 30 minutes.
- Assembly- Every second Friday (unless clubs is running).
I’m really looking forward to working with the students of 3/4R and their families this year. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything.
