Welcome to 5/6TM,
We are excited to be a part of your child’s learning journey this year. It has been a busy start to the year, and the students have all settled in well. We are working on the core values of Respect, Responsibility, Excellence & Resilience which are embedded into our daily learning. Our class theme this year is ‘The Solar System’ and our motto is ‘To Infinity and Beyond.’
· Class Teachers – Mrs Turner: Monday, Tuesday morning, Thursday, Friday
Mrs Mackay: Tuesday 10.00 – 1.00, Wednesday
- Library – Library is on Wednesdays with Mrs Mackay where students will have the opportunity to borrow and read for enjoyment.
- RFF – RFF is a period of time when the classroom teacher is relieved from face to face teaching to complete programming, testing etc. 5/6TM will have Mrs Beven on Tuesday afternoons for STEM and Technology.
- Sport – 5/6TM will have Sport on a Friday between 12.00 - 1.00 in Term 1. We will be learning skills for athletics field events. Students will be participating in PE (touch football) on Thursdays. Please ensure that your child wears their sports uniform on Fridays and comfortable sports shoes on Thursdays. It is also important that they bring their hat and water bottle each day.
- Scripture/non-scripture – On a Tuesday the whole school participates in scripture or non-scripture classes for 30 minutes.
- Assembly – Friday odd weeks @ 2.20pm
