Welcome to K6M with Miss Morris!
I am lucky enough to be teaching the amazing multi-cat class and look forward to a year of teaching & learning opportunities with your children. I look forward to joining in partnership with the families in our class and will strive to support all students in K6M.
Our class consists of 7 amazing individuals: 2 girls and 5 boys.
Our classroom caters for students who have similar moderate to high support needs. Students may have one or more disability type. These may include autism, emotional disturbance, moderate to severe intellectual disability or physical disability.
Our classroom has many exciting resources allowing students to balance their learning time with sensory breaks and special interest projects, to increase focus, motivation, and productivity.

English- Oral Language and Communication, Vocabulary, Reading Fluency, Reading Comprehension, Creating Written Texts, Spelling, Handwriting & Digital transcriptions, Understanding and responding to literature.
Mathematics- Representing numbers using Place Value, Additive relations, Multiplicative relations, Partitioned fractions, Geometric measure, Two-dimensional Spatial Structure, Non-spatial measure, Data and Chance.
Science- Material World
History- First Contacts
PDHPE- Sport; Fundamental Movement Skills, PE, Social & Emotional learning, Child Protection, Road/Water/Sun Safety
CAPA- Visual Arts, Music, Dance & Drama
Absences - Class absences should be recorded via Sentral, or an email can be sent to the office. Please ensure you check the Parent portal for class/whole school reminders, highlights and messages and feel free to contact me via the portal if you have any questions. I am also available for appointments made through our school office.
