Welcome to 5/6M.
I am excited to be a part of your child’s learning journey in Stage 3. 5/6M consists of 15 Year 5 students and 10 Year 6 students. It has been a busy start to the year, and everyone has settled into their classes. We are working on the core values of Respect, Responsibility Excellence & Resilience which are embedded into our daily learning.
- Library – Library is Tuesday with Mrs Duke where students are using inquiry learning and research to develop a greater understanding of factors that shape places and Australia as a nation.
- RFF – RFF is a period of time when the classroom teacher is relieved from face to face teaching to complete programming, testing etc. 5/6M will have Mrs Beven on Monday 10am-11am for STEM and Technology. 5/6M will have Mrs Drew for PDHPE on Tuesday 12pm-1pm.
- Sport – Stage 3 will have Stage Sport on a Friday between 12:00pm-1:00pm and 5/6M. Please ensure that your child is wearing their sports uniform, brings their hat and water bottle.
- Scripture/non-scripture – On a Tuesday the whole school participates in scripture or non-scripture classes for 30 minutes.
Fruit Break: Each morning we have fruit break at 9am. Please include a piece of fruit that is easy to eat in your child’s lunch box each day.
- Assembly – Friday even weeks @ 2.20pm
